Came away with a very bad taste for it.....lots of stuff that sounded great. Meats were either over cooked or under cooked and not cooked completely. Not what I expected for... $25 per person.

Ok let's start off with the price just for $25 you can eat all the stake you want. Whatttt!! You can not beat that the meat is good salad bar was alright in quantity but definitely good from egg plant to chicken with cheese it was well worth the visit I highly recommend it if you have a huge craving for meat ohhh and the service is great they don't normally serve one person party but since I travel for business they made an exception loved it and will be back next time with a buddy

This is a family owned Brazilian steakhouse. They do a very nice job for a reasonable price. My son and I enjoy the homelike atmosphere and the friendly service of the owner and his staff. On this visit (our second) we were impressed with the sirloin and the rib-eye. We also like several of the offerings on the clean, well stocked buffet. You can get a Yelp deal and give it a try. Remember, this is a home style Brazilian restaurant, not a high priced chain. If you keep that in mind, you will be happy, and really enjoy the meal. My son and I can eat all we want in about 30-40 minutes for a very reasonable price.

We have been to this restaurant twice now and enjoyed it both times. This is one of the few places where we can truly feel stuffed on our low carb diet. On our last visit (the end of March 2013) they had 3 different price levels: -$9 "buffet" only (I would not recommend this...see below) -$13 for 6 "select meats" -including 2 steaks, pork, chicken -$20 for all the meats We selected the $20 option since we wanted to try as much as possible. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and we definitely should have got the $13 option. First, lets talk about the "buffet". It is very small and while you could eat off of it only...it would defeat the purpose of coming to a Brazilian Steakhouse. I grabbed a salad with fresh carrots, tomatoes and cucumbers (veggies were really fresh) and some chicken in a yellow sauce. Both of them were very good and I ate them slowly in between the meat. The buffet also had tabbouleh an eggplant dish, soup and a few other items. The meat. I read some people complain about lack of steak. That was not the case for us. Our first 3 items were steak. My favorite was the thinly cut and well seasoned garlic steak. Then we were brought a sausage. While this was really good, it was mild in flavor and tasted best paired with their homemade sauce that is on the table. Next we received pork tenderloin. This was the only item I didn't care for. It was a little fatty and bland. After that we received chicken wrapped in bacon that was incredible. I loved how perfectly cooked the whole piece was. Somewhere in the middle of this they gave my Husband a chicken wing (I declined since I am not a fan of wings...no hate mail please, I know this is not normal). Lastly, I received a piece of lamb. The lamb was good on the first bite, but a little chewy and fatty. I was too full to finish the rest of it. We left completely stuffed, happy and planning our return visit (for the $13 meal next time).

Hands down best Brazilian steakhouse in Pinellas Park, FL I have enjoyed this place many times and will continue. If you don't want to travel to Tampa to Texas de Brazil and pay nearly double.. You must try them.....

Love this place! Great food and friendly service. A good variety of meats with different flavors. Side dishes are buffet style so, eat until you are full.

Your run of the mill buffet style dining! With a four star rating on yelp, we had a lot of hope for this Brazilian style steakhouse in Pinellas Park, my two points of comparison being Texas de Brazil and a nice Brazilian steakhouse in Merida, Mexico. The location of this restaurant was in a shopping center that looked a bit run down, which did not make us feel too great about our choice, but you know what they say, you can't judge a restaurant by its plaza.... The server was very welcoming when we arrived, we were seated immediately. This was also a little concerning, it was lunch time on a Saturday at a four star yelp restaurant and there all of 4 parties in there. The environment certainly left something to be desired. I did not feel like I had walked into a steakhouse in Brazil. Even the music was american music. It wasn't unwelcoming, but it just didn't feel like the environment had been purposely created to enhance our dining experience. After we were seated, the server explained the menu and the process to us and took our drink orders. (There were some nice brazilian import beers which made the experience a bit better). There were two options, 10 cuts of meat, or unlimited meat, we decided to go the ten cuts route. You are allowed to start with sides first, so we did. The sides were mediocre. Some definitely tasted like they had been made quite a bit before we touched them. The flavors were ok, but it just didn't feel/taste fresh. The options were quite varied though, so that was good! On to the meat, what should be the centerpiece of this experience. The meat was OK at best. The chicken thighs were definitely the best item we consumed. It was cooked perfectly with great flavor. Everything else left something to be desired either in flavor or in the manner in which it was cooked. I think that $20 a plate for this experience is a shade too much and would recommend visiting an upper level steakhouse.

Wow, i ate 5-6 different meats. Great selection of soup, pasta, egg plant, bread, plantains, rice, etc. Much more, great service, they almost had to roll me out of there. I would recommend it to meat lovers.

This place is any awesome family dinner house, with awesome food and pleasant servers who know you want to stay for hours and manage your food intake to enjoy the great flavors!

Great steakhouse; classy atmosphere. Lovely cuts of meat that were actually very flavorful. A clean buffet and friendly service. Nothing to complain about, and a lot to enjoy. This restaurant definitely deserves more clientèle.

SOOO WORTH THE PRICE I won't hound on the eternal low-prices of this place in comparison to similar, expensive steakhouses (enough people mentioned it) but I will caution YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. But it's worth it especially if you're a Meat Muncher. Naturally the Salad Buffet is kinda sad and there's not enough items there to make it your sole reason for visiting. But at least there's some home-tasty carbs that go well with the Meat like Plantains, Rice, and Potatoes. MUNCHING THE MEAT We tried nine of the ten cuts offered (the Chicken Breast wrapped in Bacon never came around). There's no menu showing the appearance of each slice so you have to keep asking the skewer-wielding server what they're serving. Perhaps it was just this visit but one-third of the cuts (The Sirloins & Rib-Eye) were kinda dry. Most Meats needed the Plantains or the homemade Sauce on the table to add some extra flavor. Surprisingly, my favorite was the grilled Chicken with its crispy skin. The Garlic Steak was also very moist and the Garlic was a great addition. GLANCING AROUND The décor is very minimal as well as Terra Mar's outside presence in a very plain plaza (But the delicious grilled meat smell is very strong outside). A couple televisions play a Brazilian (?) channel. The tables look like leftovers from a country-homestyle-cooking restaurant. I could barely believe this simple interior served Brazilian Steakhouse fare.

Service was great , the steaks are very tasty.. Im used to going to Texas De Brazil in tampa , but for like $15 cheaper i can have the same service here and still enjoy my meal .... The salad bar is not as impressive as Texas, but let's be honest here who goes for the salad bar ? Was welcomed properly, checked upon regularly and my drink filled up often . Good service

Hold on while I loosen my pants--both from TOTAL MEAT GLUTTONY and from the sight of manly meats. Yeah yeah true the OUTSIDE ISN'T MUCH to look at. The inside is pretty UNDECORATED as well, but as soon as you step out of your car you know you're in the right place because that GRILLED MEAT SMELL totally permeates the air. I drooled before I even walked inside. Now it was time for a meat conquest. I TRIED ALL THE CUTS except for the chicken breast and really liked a few of them. I was surprised at how GOOD THE CHICKEN thighs were. THE STEAKS WERE SO-SO because a few cuts I had WERE DRYER than the daytime Sahara. I had several things from the SALAD BAR and it was a random assortment of goodies. Definitely nothing to drop the protein for. I wish there were more people when I went. The place was LESS THAN HALF FULL. At least the SERVICE WAS FREAKING FRIENDLY. Great place to eat lots--I'm totally cool if I never go to one of those upscale Brazilian steakhouses again.

Great staff, more food then you can imagine. Table side all you can eat meat. Would recommend this to my friends. We are from out of the area but have family here. We told them all to go here. dinner was not over priced.

Very friendly staff. Great proteins to choose from. Slim selection of beverages. Plantains and beans and rice were delicious. Not a popular spot but decent enough to return.

We happened upon this restaurant because we wanted to try something different and we were SO IMPRESSED! I wasn't hungry enough for the full meal and had the salad and hot bar, which were fantastic. My boyfriend got the full service meal with the meat that is sliced at the table and he said that not only was it tasty, but the quality of the meat was excellent. The salad bar/hot bar meal was $15 and the full meal with the meat brought to the table was $25. With house drinks, we had an amazing dinner and great service for $55, which is very hard to find. We will definitely be coming back soon.

All the reviews are true! It is cheap and the meat is dry, and also cheap. I'm talking 1/2 the price, if not cheaper, of a typical Brazilian Steakhouse. So, I figured it was worth trying and also suggest that everyone else does the same. Thank you, Tampa Bay, for telling it like it is. Because there have been many times that you have swayed me in the wrong direction. There is really not that much more to say... Many other customers and large parties were drinking beer and wine, but I stuck with my juice. They service up two different kinds of house-made juice and will give you a sample of each. Basically, the entire experience is a sampling. They do not have Chimichurri, because these guys are not from Argentina, instead they have a red pepper sauce that is neither spicy nor herby... But, for my table of three, we ate almost all of the sauce because the meat was so dry. What do I come to AUCE churrascaria places like this for? Well, BBQ meats, but also the Pao de Queijo. At Terra Mar, the cheese rolls are served at room temperature... Not, the warm and inviting kind that is served at the better Brazilian steakhouses. The buffet/salad bar is ok, but you already know it is just there to distract you from eating more meat. My favorite meats are the garlic steak and the chicken drumsticks. But, I like dry and overcooked meat. The waitstaff is very engaging and on top of their game. But, there is only one Gaucho and he is severely overworked, roving around the entire restaurant solo and carving as fast as he can. Poor guy. So, there is only one stick of meat going throughout the entire restaurant at once. And if you say you do not want any of that specific kind, the Gaucho will give you the look of death for wasting his time and hurting his feelings.

Went for a Friday night dinner. The place isn't fancy (like Texas de Brazil which is one of my favorites) but the food was delicious! Our server was very sweet and we enjoyed ourselves. We had the buffet with all the meats and paid $20 each which I felt was reasonable. Definitely will be back.

Went as a family group. Told up front cost is now $25 per person. Salad bar with a few other food choices. Vegetables were fresh. Meat was of very poor quality. It is all you care to eat, and they keep bringing their choices for you to try. Husband and I would never go back or recommend. People who work there seem eager to please.

I love the concept of the Brazilian Steakhouse. The smallish buffet offered different types of concoctions, many of which I passed on. I did enjoy the eggplant and ground beef in a tasty sauce with a cheesy topping, very good. Also their Seafood Chowder was also very good, with whole clams etal and savory chowder, mmmm. The main event at a Brazilian Steakhouse is the meat. Be prepared for some heavy duty meats coming your way at Terra Mar! They put a small block of wood at your table, half covered red the other half green. If you keep the green color on top....the meat never stops coming. Actually it came a little too fast in the beginning of our meal, but we should have turned the block to red for a break, which we did later on. The Chef brings it right to your table still on the skewer. We had marinated chicken, bacon wrapped chicken, parmesan crusted pork, sirloin steak, bacon wrapped filet, lamb, a wonderful sweet sausage, prime rib. All cooked over an open wood flame. I may be missing some too. You can not leave here hungry, it's impossible. My Bride had a couple of glasses of their house made sangria ($5.25ea), which she enjoyed. I did think they charged a little too much for the sangria, seeing bottled beer was $3.00ea. They had a nice duo playing soft style music while we dined, good touch. We took advantage of the Yelp special coupon pay $10.00 for a $20 voucher which I printed before we left our home. See it pays to be a Yelp member, thanks Yelp!

I've heard people talk about Terra Mar for a while and finally had a chance to try them out tonight. We really enjoyed our dinner here. I've had Rodizio in a number of restaurants throughout Boston and California, and the food here was just as good as any of my favorites. And as a bonus, Terra Mar is an especially good price for such great food. The owner and all the staff were very friendly and service was fast and efficient. We showed up early on a Saturday evening and were lucky to get the last free table. Next time we'll know to make a reservation ahead of time.

We went there for dinner last night. The restaurant was busy, but, they handled the crowd well. The meat selection was excellent. The housemade sausage was studded with large chunks of garlic, and was especially good. I also really enjoyed the pork and the lamb. A couple of the beef selections were more well-done than I prefer, but, still tender and juicy. The service was warm and friendly and the restaurant clean. They have a selection of Brazilian and American beers, wines and soft drinks. We had a couple of Guarana Antarticas and some sangria. The one place where I feel they could improve is the salad bar. There were some good offerings, like the fried polenta and the plantains. But, others, like the potato salad or the (somewhat dried out) sushi just didn't seem to fit with the menu. As many have observed, the decor is very minimal. Tables and chairs are pretty basic and the place has almost a diner feel. If you're looking for a formal experience like Boizao, this is not it. But, if you are looking for good food and good service in a casual atmosphere, it's great.

After reading some of the reviews here on Yelp my husband and I decided to give this restaurant a try. With our two daughters in tow we arrived around 6:30pm on a Sunday. The interior of the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired but we were prepared for that with previous reviews and overlooked it. We were seated right away and there were 4 other tables of customers there when we arrived. All four of us ordered water to drink and the waitress then went on to explain how everything worked and what the costs were. $19.99 for each of us. We were given plates and instructed to head to the bar for sides and salads. The bar had about 15-20 choices. I had the carrots, the potato salad, the cucumber salad and a roll. None of it was anything I'd get excited about or want more of. The meats started to arrive. We had Top sirloin (very good), Garlic Steak (very good), Bacon wrapped filet (not good at all. Chewy, over cooked and not convinced it was really filet), Veal (horrible), Ribeye (horrible), Chicken (okay), Chicken Hearts (okay but over cooked). We were pretty disappointed with the whole experience and decided not to return in the future. We were hoping to find an alternative to the now closed Boizao but this place didn't even come close. I'd give this restaurant a C- and won't recommend it to friends and family.

Went there for lunch. The meats were extremely dry and over cooked. Salad bar just had a basic salad. Soup was bland. The sides mostly meant noodles and rice dishes. And one veggie..carrots. The server brought the meats to the table too fast. Kept asking him to give us time to eat the previous piece. You definitely get plenty of meat. It may be possible that we got leftovers from the night before. So I would suggest not going for lunch. Price is good if your going to eat a lot.

The food, service and value here are excellent, these are the most important things to consider when choosing a restaurant. If I need to offer some constructive criticism it would be just to work on the atmosphere, but overall the quality of food here should cost twice of what they charge. I would definitely come again.

Great food, great value. I just read R David P.'s review... he's pretty much spot-on. ( yelp.com/biz/terra-mar-b… ) Sangria and the meats are great. I loved the plantains from the buffet. My wife liked the eggplant. Of the places we ate while vacationing in Tampa area, this was the favorite for me and my daughter. Pay close attention to what they are serving you so you know what to ask for when you start getting full. Our first beef offering was the best, but we lost track. We had several other great items, but finished stuffed and wishing we had been able to request more of our first item. We had the flan for dessert. I'm not normally a fan of flan (too egg-y for me), but this was very good; more firm than typical flan and great flavor.

  • Robert S.

Food was good. The place wasn't much to look at, but the service was great. We had 1 round and tried all seven or so meats and were full at that point. Sangria was good, interesting sides to choose from at the bar. We were too full to try dessert, but they had enough options that looked pretty tasty. At $19.95 for the "full experience" I would go back.

All our meat was over cooked and chewy. I asked for extra of a certain meat and the meat guy gave me a dirty look, but whatever. Even with a half off coupon, I would not return here. Try Texas De Brazil in Tampa, a bit pricier but everythignis good and the servers are nicer.

If u want to waste ridiculous amounts of money and drive to Tampa, go ahead and "pretend" like $200 dinners dont concern you. But, If u value your money and still want great Brazilian meat but with even better service, come here! Im not eating the wallpaper, so idc if its not "pretty" enough. What you need to know: Is it clean...Yes Is the service fantastic...Yes Is it very tasty...Yes Do I feel ripped off and regretful ($) after I leave...Nope

Excellent food, all the meat is flavorful, tender, despite is a small place is not noisy, I highly recommend it, it has 3 options in the menu you can select the best fit your needs... I came with my wife who is very tough to please with the food and she liked a lot, I saw a pic of a passion fruit mousse so I ordered it... You MUST try it, the service is amazing and the guy who serve the meat is pretty quick, if you don't pay attention, you'll end with your plate full of meat in few minutes...

Sure enough I returned for lunch, got the five meats for $12.95, they keep coming around an the ribs were the best. Everything at the buffet was great as well, so much food. I recommend trying this place out.

As many reviews have stated, it is a small local downscale churrascaria. They are half the price of Texas de Brazil and it shows. The atmosphere isn't close. The meats are good but not as good. The food bar is not that great. Service was friendly and helpful, but not quite at the same level. All in all an OK experience, just not great.

I have been dining at this restaurant for a few years now and I think it has changed management and owners at least twice that I know of. The current management/owners have made some minor improvements including creating a hostess/checkout stand after closing one of the doors (this place is located in a strip mall and occupies a couple of suites) adding a couple of flatscreen TVs (for the solo diner but unfortunately the close captioning is not turned on the muted TVs) and keeping the floors clean but overall the decor of this place is not a draw at all. In fact, if I was to give a rating on the decor alone this place would fail miserably achieving quite possibly the lowest rating I could give. But fortunately for you my readers this is not why I highly recommend this place. First let's talk about pricing and value. On their website and throughout the Bay Area located in the free coupon mags you will find a coupon for this place which gives you two dollars off the standard price of $19.95. This makes it basically an all-you-can-eat joint for $18 so fairly decent there. It used to ring in at $14 which was a tremendous deal but several years have passed and the buffet items, which are your side items to the meat, have been upgraded slightly as well. Next I would like to describe to you the buffet. It is a smaller two section buffet containing both hot and cold items. On the right you can get soups, and various salad items. Highlights include the tabbouleh and the tomatoes. The tabbouleh is perfectly prepared with just the right amount of vinaigrette and mint. The tomatoes are beefsteak tomatoes cut into large wedges and I choose the creamy ranch dressing. On the hot side they always have white and yellow rice, black beans, a layered dish of ground sirloin eggplant and topped with a cream sauce and plantains. All of which are delicious. Also included on my last visit was largely sliced zucchini and squash cooked with onion. As good as these items are in my opinion I consider them a prelude to what is really the draw of this place and that is the meat. Like most Brazilian steakhouses the meat is brought to your table and sliced or served to you by the cook, is served from a rotisserie and it is a wide variety of meats including chicken, pork, lamb and steak. The similarities end there. As any good grill master will tell you, wood trumps gas all day long. This really brings out the flavor in the meat. I find it truly been delightful to be surprised each and every time I come to this restaurant with a different flavored meat. On this occasion, it was a Parmesan crusted pork loin that garnished my attention twice. It was tender, juicy, and incredibly flavorful with hints of smoke from the wood and just enough Parmesan. In the beef department, I have seen filet, prime rib and top sirloin served and most of the time, the top sirloin is actually better than the filet. The Prime rib is always juicy and tender. The filet is typically overcooked and is sometimes wrapped in bacon which I find to be incredibly salty. The chicken is usually little drumsticks which are fairly thick in size and moist and flavorful. My wife tells me the lamb is always truly nice although this can be overcooked sometimes, you do have the option to tell the cook how you would like it to be prepared however, which is a nice touch. They also have a homemade sausage which can be paired with some sort of mustard sauce you can find on your table. The sauce serves as an incredibly wonderful addition to the flavors of the sausage. It is a mild sausage and the sauce really helps spike it up. For beverages, they serve Pepsi products, a few beers and some wine but the highlight is truly their sangria. I must be forthright in telling you that I typically don't like sangria at all and I've had sangria from a variety of restaurants and never found it to be all that spectacular. Mostly I find that restaurants don't steep the fruit long enough and the bitterness of the dry red wine leaves me disappointed most of the time. This is not the case at TerraMar, It is homemade and it tastes simply wonderful. It is priced at $18 a pitcher or $5.25 a glass, the pitcher is the better value and you will thank me that you ordered more. The fruit for the sangria is perfectly minced into small pieces and you can tell by the color of the fruit that is been saturated in the wine for quite some time. Detecting notes of apple, pear, and cherry it's truly a delight. Warning, you will drink more than you think and eating the fruit in this case, will definitely affect you and your inability to eat more meat, which from a man's standpoint is a real drag. Taking everything into consideration I still rate this place as above average. It's affordable, and with some of the highlights on the buffet and some of the meats being truly delicious it stands above other restaurants in the same pricing category.

We read the reviews here on Yelp and thought this place was going to be pretty good. We knew going in that the restaurant was kind of a hole in the wall and not to expect much when came to the interior of the restaurant. The place is not dirty or anything, just that the owners of the place didn't spend any money making the customers feel like sitting in a nice setting. In my opinion, they should spend some money and try and make the place look better. Service in this place is awesome. Our server was very attentive and she did a wonderful job. She kept our drinks filled and cleared away plates when we were done using them. She was not intrusive like some servers can become. Unfortunately this is the only good thing about the restaurant. I tried the Garlic Steak, it was okay but a little chewy. The ribs were very dry and not cooked well. A good rib, the meat should just fall off. You could have used a scraper and still not get this stuff off the bone. The chicken hearts were so over cooked, they were like chewing a piece of rubber. The Filet wrapped in bacon, was so chewy that I could not even eat it. You really could do better with a backyard BBQ then what they were serving. I think you get the idea here, the meats were disappointing, although the server did bring them out very rapidly. The buffet bar was okay. The potato salad was very good, the carrots were good and the garbanzo beans were good. I tried the chicken with mustard sauce, the chicken was very dry. The bread roles were not fresh, they were like little bricks. I passed up on all the rest of the stuff. I ended up paying $87.00 for the family of four and we only got water for drinks. I know that Boizao's in Tampa went out of business, but they were in a different class than this place. If you are going to spend that kind of money, there are many better places to eat. I can see that this restaurant is trying to deliver a good product but they have failed. If you have eaten in real Brazilian Steakhouses before, then you will know this is a cheap knock-off trying to pull the wool over your eyes and be something it is not. I will not be going back and you should save your money and eat elsewhere in my opinion. If you have your heart set on Brazilian food, you might want to consider Texas de Brazil in Tampa.

Our first Brazilian restaurant here in st petersburg.... Overall, we were very pleased with the food and service (both our waiter and waitress were attentive) ... The meats for the most part were cooked well (lamb was a little tough), were succulent, and tasty. The buffet bar had your regular fixings that you would see at other Brazilian restaurants but don't fill up on these as the meats are the main attraction. If you're looking for a romantic spot for a first date, anniversary, etc. you might want to look else where as this would best be described as the local dive or how in the wall. However, if you're a carnivore and want to splurge and expand your waistline, eat here. Prices are appropriate and you'll leave sated.

Once upon a time, not too long ago, this was a no nonsense place to eat featuring a well priced churrascarias. Not any more ! Atmosphere 70 ( storefront eatery but still better then most in Brazil) Service 70 ( Slow for a churrascarias) Food 70 (Dry and overly salty. Freezer burned ?) Value 75 (only because it is all you can eat - if you have the patience) One of the few eateries my wife and I do not plan to visit again. It is a shame because it was a fun place to eat an inexpensive rustic authentic Brazilian meal.

We really enjoy eating here because my boyfriend is from Rio and this is his soul food. The food quality is very good and they now know how we like things. It is a place that we truly look forward to. I love the pimenta sauce that is on the table - outstanding. Really nice people making a nice ethnic true Brazilian restaurant work. Highly recommend for value also.

We went to this place as suggested by one of our co-workers. Brazillian steakhouse at half the cost!? Sounds too good to be true. Unfortunately, this was the case. Upon entering, we found the decor to be quite lacking. The tables were covered by cheap picnic-looking checkered sheets. Walls were plain white. Floors were dirty. Ok, who cares about the atmosphere. What about the food!? The salad bar was tiny with probably about 10 choices, compared to the usual 30 we were accustomed to at real steakhouses. Nothing special here. Some potatoes, some roasted peppers, some rice. Who eats this stuff anyway? Lets move on to the main course: the meats! They have about 10 different meats when we were there. Filet mignon, bacon wrapped chicken, beef, garlic steak, flank steak, etc. Unfortunately most of the meats were way too salty. A couple of them tasted like feet. I could tell that this was low quality meat. We stayed long enough to try every single meat once. This was definitely not a restaurant we would come back to. In the end, you really get what you paid for. Low price for low quality meat. I guess if you're on a budget and dont have any taste buds, this would be a wonderful place. If you're a stuck up eater like me though, look elsewhere!

This place is an embarrassment to Brazillian steakhouses. They are so cheap when it comes to delivering the steaks. Why the hell do you advertise All You Can Eat when really its only all you will give the customers? The place smelled as though I was sitting inside a smoker and I was the one being smoked. Half assed salad buffet. The more you eat the slower the new meats will arrive at your table. We were even avoided a few times because we ate a lot of beef. The other people who were filtered on this had the same experiences I had and should be un-filtered. This is another legit scam...meaning false advertisement! All you can eat...my A$s.

The meat was not the best cuts and reminded me of meat you might buy at Aldi's. for the price and amount, it was a good experience. Only 1 sauce was available. Next time, we will bring the BBQ sauce ...lol!

I went to this place reading all that great reviews and thinking I would be happy afterwards.. that was not the case. The meats flavor wasn't that great and it was pretty dry. I gave most of it to my bf and just ate the bread. I also found some hairs in my red beans and was disgusted. I would not go back here. I could make better meat in my own kitchen thanks.

Pretty good value...I've been to a few churrascarias--most were much more expensive than Tarra Mar. The food was very good--not high end, but well wort the price. The restaurant is in a strip mall so the atmosphere is as a pure eaterie--probably not a first date place.

By the looks of the repeated rant, it looks like some nutcase has a complaint with the former owner. We have had over a dozen dinners at this Brazilian rodizio with both old and new owners and have never had a complaint. The food is Brazilian and Portuguese, so don't expect Italian or Japanese cuisine. It is a rodizio grill, so don't expect steak tartare. It cooks on a skewer and is brought to your table. We've always had a wide selection of meats and cuts and the quality is comparable to any mid-range steak house that I've been to in the Tampa Bay area. Brazilians like flank steak and so do I, so when in Rome... We have always found the place to be clean. Yes, it's not fancy looking. If you want fancy, go to Boizao's in Tampa and pay $40-60 per person. Terra Mar charges about $16.

The food was great and the service was fantastic. When I went they had 9 different meats circulating like lamb, fillet mignon, garlic steak, and beef kabobs. The atmosphere isn't like the decadent ones that charge you an arm and a leg per person, but the price here reflects that. Definitely stopping by again.

Owner operated, authentic, value priced Brazilian Steakhouse! $16.99 per person for hot buffet, cold salad bar, and all you can eat meat delivered to the table and $16 wine bottles. We are fans of Brazilian steakhouses with their all you can eat rotissierie grilled succulent meats and thoroughly enjoyed this place. The homemade sausage was the star of the show but the other meats were also very enjoyable. All of the typical Brazilian choices were served: picanha (top sirloin), filet wrapped in bacon, parmesan pork, garlic beef etc. Dont expect the upscale ambiance of a Texas de Brazil or Fogo de Chao. This is casual "diner style" located in a non descript plaza. The hardworking owner is very friendly and welcoming.

The food here was great. After eating in your typical chain Brazilian "churrasqueria", Terra Mar was an excellent surprise. The place is family owned and operated. After we walk in, we help ourselves to the buffet where I found amazing black beans with chorizo, fresh vegetables, and cheese bread. Then, the meat started to show up. Lamb, filet mignon, garlic beef, picanha, pork, etc; all excellent. Great service. The owner was sitting and playing with our kids. 100% recommend.

Very good food, friendly and helpful staff, do not expect a fancy churrascaria, it's a family restaurant, they have a salad and hot food selection or a rodizio, with various cuts of meat, chicken and home made sausage. You'll not be disappointed.

This place used to be the best when they first opened. The meats were well seasoned and not too rare. The price was under $20 a person for an all you can eat with about 10 different meats. The atmosphere is very small and plan like a regular doctors office all white. I used to go there about four times a week and though that the owner Frank appreciated my business. Than the last time I was there about six months ago I stated out by eating only a little bit of their rice so I would not fill up before the meats came. The chefs brought me some cheap chicken wings to start out with since that is the cheapest meat. I said no to the chicken wings this time and the owner Frank came over and yelled at me and you want top sirloin and filet migueon than I have a special price for you today all the red meat you can eat for $30 which is ten dollars more. I said Frank you are imbarressing me and you advertise and tell me that this is all you can eat and includes top sirlion and all the meats and I am a good regular customer that you know so well. Why should I be put on the spot to pay extra $10 for a buffet that is right under $20. I told him he should of raised his prices if he has a problem with profits. I weigh only about 220 pounds and I am not some pig. I got up and still insisted on paying even though I did not have all I cared to eat and just told him I will never be back since he insulted me like that. This guy will yell at you if be thinks you are eating too much but will not raise the prices? Does not make sense. Shut him down guys and boycott this place please!
